In South Florida, us natives wait for the influx of northern snowbirds (the ones that take the plane) to descend and clog up our freeways. What comes just before the holiday season are the northern birds migrating from the North and Canada. In Palm Beach County, at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, we have a great rookery that hosts thousands of nesting birds, from herons, ibis, storcks, and roseate spoonbills. Taken with the Nikon D5 and Nikkor 800mm.
