I am lucky to live (in my opinion) of the of the best birding locations in Florida. Located in Palm Beach county in Del Ray is the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, part of the PB County water management district. It is well located near the popular tourist destinations so it makes it easy to plan a family vacation and get some great bird photography in. You will see every sort of migratory bird that passes through Florida including herons, egrets, wood storks, various ducks, grackles, and of course the occasional gator. And right now the wood storks and egret are nesting.
