Wildlife photographs don’t usually have the luxury of directing their subjects. You need to wait for the light and the gesture. While some people think that Brown Bears are cuddly teddy bears, they are in fact fierce, wild, dangerous creatures if you don’t act correctly and “read” them.
That said, they can also be the laziest and in my friend Moose’s words, the perfect couch potato. They sleep most of the time if they aren’t eating. But sometimes they can give they impression they at just like people, and in this case lounging around. Taken with the Nikon D6 Nikkor 180-400mm with both the built-in 14E teleconverter and external TC-14E III at 800mm.
