It’s been 2 years since I have been to Alaska to photograph Moose. The four-legged kind. Last year I had work commitments and couldn’t make the trip so I really want to go back. Where I go, you walk through the Alaska tundra with spectacular views, even seeing Denali poking through the clouds. Every time I have gone, I have had the opportunity to photograph Moose in what they do best. Sit and lay around, occasionally get up then sit down again. The real magic is when they lock antlers. But you need to wait for that and hey, that’s biology. With the travel restrictions, I hope to be able to go back this October. This photo was taken with the Nikon D5 and Nikkor 300mm f/4 PF ED.
Ready to go back
