Floating down the river after a successful afternoon silver fishing, we happen upon a brown bear dozing. He probably gorged himself on salmon after a successful afternoon just like we did. The bear could be bothered to react as we came around the bend. He kept picking up his head but would put it right back down, either uninterested or too tired to care. Taken with the Nikon Z 9 and Nikkor 400mm 4.5. The perfect set up for floating a river and being agile for what came upon us.
