Most people head to Bosque del Apache to photograph the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese. The wildlife refuge has many other opportunities to photograph wildlife. That beak is used to plow through the mud on the bottom of the pond. Taken with the Nikon D6 and Nikkor 800mm 5.6 with 1.25TC.
