Thinking About Fall Color

We don’t get much fall color in Florida. So with the lockdown and not traveling I am longing for the great times I have been outdoors and that is usually in the fall months. I have had the opportunity to photograph fall color around all of North America and Europe but my favorite is definitely in the Grand Tetons in the Rocky Mountains. In my opinion, the opportunity to get the mountains as a backdrop to the fall color makes for some impressive and fun photography. This was taken when I first got the new Nikon Z 7 and used a long lens, the Nikkor 180-400mm to isolate the subject.
