They are waiting for us

One of my more memorable bird photography experiences was in Eastern Australia at O-Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. The diversity and variety of birds is something to experience with unique birds you will see no where else on the planet. Just walking from the van to the resort, we saw birds we have never seen before. In this case the next morning, I got to spend some time with this eastern spinebill. A honeyeater you will never see in North America or Europe.

I was hoping to go back this year but thanks to the virus that has been delayed to 2021… hopefully Australia will be open by then. Taken with the Nikon D5 and Nikkor 600 f/4.
